COVID-19 Safety Plan In accordance with Transport Canada regulations for passenger vessels and Work Safe BC regulations, we at Pirate Adventures Vancouver, have developed a Covid-19 Safety Plan ensured by a daily review of the Ministry of Health. At Pirate Adventures we aim at providing a safe work environment in accordance with BC safety regulations as well as following provincial and local health authority requirements for resuming operations. Implementing screening checklist to ensure safety of our employees: Screening each customer with basic questions about their physical health and symptoms using the provincial list of COVID-19 symptoms (asking each customer about recent travel history, symptoms such as cough, fever, shortness of breath); Screening each employee with basic questions about their physical health and symptoms using the provincial list of COVID-19 symptoms (asking each customer about recent travel history, symptoms such as cough, fever, shortness of breath); To control the risk of transmission in the workplace following measures have been implemented: 1. Signs inside the shop and on the ship reinforcing personal distancing (2 meters) and limiting the number of customers at the shop to 6 people at a time. 2. Installing plexiglass in the shop and on the ship; 3. Installing hand sanitizers in the shop and on the ship and reinforcing hand washing upon entering the shop and boarding the ship; 4. To reduce the transmission from surfaces and objects we designated an employee to disinfecting surfaces after each sail; 5. Weekly meetings have been implemented to get input and ideas from employees in order to evaluate the Safety Plan for effectiveness; 6. Implementation of new Covid-19 safety plan into safety drill; 7. Informing customers about Covid-19 measures on the website and by posting at the store and on the ship; In effort to minimize the risk of exposure and spread of Covid 19, the following measures have been taken: 1. Costuming and face painting are no longer available; 2. Employees working in cohorts to minimise cross exposure; 3. Break areas are identified and disinfected after each sail; In case of a potential case, or suspected exposure to, COVID-19 at the workplace, we have created a checklist with the procedures of what to do if someone gets sick at work, including key contact numbers: 1. Isolation procedures; 2. Gathering of contact information for public health contact tracing; 3.
